Jefferson Mule Drawn Wagon Tours is a family owned and operated business. Our family has been in Marion County for many generations and we want to pass some of that heritage on to you. Here at Jefferson Mule Drawn Wagon Tours we offer a 45 minute narrated tour of Jefferson's Historic Residential area. The tour is given aboard a covered wagon pulled by a team of well mannered mules. Along the way we pass 35 historic homes and tell the heritage of each one, as well as lots of general historical information about Jefferson itself. If you listen carefully along the tour you may even hear a ghost story or two.
We are located at the corner of Austin Street and Vale Street in downtown Jefferson, just down from the courthouse and across the street from the Excelsior Hotel.
